The January “Opportunity 34 Night” at Verona High School was an uplifting success, led by the Verona boys basketball team who presented foundation founders Brian and Kristin Kellerman with a check for $2,500 and a framed #34 jersey.
Buckets were passed throughout the bleachers and an additional $900 was raised through those donation buckets. In addition, another $234 dollars were raised through social media from supporters who could not attend the game. One of the referees working game donated his game income to Opportunity 34. So much support from so many sources. Altogether, Opportunity 34 Night raised more than $3,600! You truly will make an impact on future Wildcats.
